The 2023 Jefferson County Fair will take place from August 14th through August 20th, at 1505 Friendship Park Road, Smithfield. Ohio. A tradition providing fun for over 150 years!
A plethora of events are coming up at this year’s annual fair event, with entertainment and excitement for every age and interest.
Sunday (Aug. 13th) begins with the Open Horse Show and 4-H Awards Presentation/Style Review.
Monday (Aug. 14th) has Opening Ceremonies, Jr. Fair Coronation, Jr. Fair Dog Show and more.
Tuesday (Aug. 15th) is the Cheering Competition, Judging of Baked Goods, Large & Small Animal Costume Contest, Judging of Jr. Fair Sheep, The Funny Balloon Guy, Mr. Puppet, and more.
Wednesday (Aug. 16th) features the Rafter M Rodeo, Judging of Jr. Fair Horse Show, Jr. Fair Rabbit, Jr. Fair Swine, and Russ Buchanan Band.
Thursday, (Aug. 17th) is the Motocross Race, Judging of Jr. Fair Beef Breeding & Showmanship, Open Class Beef Show, and Brother Randal Bluegrass Band.
Friday (Aug. 18th) is Home Talent Truck & Modified Tractor Pull, Judging of Jr. Fair Small Animals, Light Horse Halter Classes, Rooster Crowing Contest, “The Great Square Dance”, and more.
Saturday (Aug. 19th) the Grand Parade, Transfer Sled Antique Tractor/Farm Stock/ Truck Pulls, Karaoke and more.
Sunday, Aug. 20th) Home Talent Demo Derby, Dance Competition, Baby Beautiful Contest, and more.
Also, Lisko Amusements will be providing rides.
