One of our favorite things about this time of year is the anticipation of nutritious fresh fruit and veggies being available locally for all to enjoy! It is still a little early for some of our favorites like corn and tomatoes but there is lettuce, spinach, onions, radishes and the like available now.
Today is the opening day of the Farmers’ Gateway Market. The market is located in the side parking lot of Eastern Gateway Community College. Some of the vendors expected on this first day are West Wind Farm, Foster Fluharty Farms, Kinsey’s Spring Valley Farm, Spring Valley Stock Farms and Fowler Hill Farm.
