Spring Concert: Rutter’s Requiem hosted by Ohio Valley Chorale

The Ohio Valley Chorale will present its 2019 spring concert on Sunday, May 5, 2019, 3:00pm, at First Westminster Presbyterian Church in Steubenville, Ohio.
The title work for the concert is John Rutter’s “Requiem” as well as other orchestrated works by Rutter and two a cappella pieces by F. Melius Christiansen.
The program marks the first performance of the Chorale’s third concert season and will feature the singers of the Ohio Valley Chorale, a professional orchestra, and conductor, Erik R. Waugh.
The chorale also welcomes guest soloist, LaKedria Johnson-Lozano. Mrs. Lozano holds a Masters of Music in Vocal Performance from Marshall University. This performance marks her debut with the Ohio Valley Chorale.
Also joining them for this performance will be several of Mrs. Lozano’s music students from God’s Lighthouse Academy in Lambertville, Michigan.
This program is free and open to the public. A free-will offering will be collected.
