Small Business Development Center Workshop on Food Businesses

Offered by: The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Kent State University Tuscarawas and the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce.
A food business is one of the most challenging businesses to launch. Turning your desire into success requires research, planning, capital and perseverance. This workshop will offer tips to help you start and operate your food business successfully. The “menu” of topics includes:
- Appetizers (self-evaluation, concept evaluation, laws and regulations)
- Main Courses (customers, competition and marketing)
- Desserts (daily operations, financial management and exit strategy.
The presenter is Jeanne Keenan, Retired Business Owner.
Once upon a time, Jeanne owned a sweet little restaurant. Now she has a simpler life and enjoys sharing what she learned with others who also love the food industry.
