LEGO Da Vinci Invention Competition

May 2, 2019 marks the 500th Anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci’s death. By all accounts Leonardo Da Vinci was a genius, excelling in many fields of art, engineering and science.
Inviting up-and-coming engineers to take part in a LEGO Building Competition based on Da Vinci’s Inventions! Participants must build a LEGO model using one of Da Vinci’s sketches as the design. Build in whatever scale you choose, so go big, micro, or somewhere in between.
The Grand Prize Winner will receive 2 tickets to Da Vinci: The Exhibition at Carnegie Science Center. All entrants will receive a gift card to Leo’s and will have their models displayed at our coffee shop during the May First Fridays on Fourth!
Official Rules:
1. LEGO model must be built using real bricks
2. Please build a model using one of Leonardo Da Vinci’s sketches as the design.
3. Post a photo of your creation and the Da Vinci sketch used to design it on Facebook or Instagram and use #LEGOdavinci in the description.
4. Register and upload a photo of your creation using the ticket link
5. Deadline is Friday, April 26, 2019 at Midnight
6. Bring your LEGO invention and a printed photo of the Da Vinci sketch to Leonardo’s Coffeehouse before May 2, 2019
7. Entries will be judged and winner announced at the May 3 First Fridays on Fourth
