Beatty Park – Annual Historical Walking Tour

Event presented by Flora VerStraten-Merrin and Friends of Beatty Park.
The 2nd Annual Walking Tour of Beatty Park will begin at the Caretaker area, near the entrance. The walk is approximately 90 minutes and includes staircases and a few slight inclines. Please wear appropriate layered clothing and outdoor sneakers or boots for hiking.
Have you often wondered what some of the remnants are when you’ve walked or hiked in the park? Well, now is the time to find out, complete with historical yard sign size photos.
John Boiliegh, from the ODNR will be their guest and will also have a display and presentation at the 2nd shelter house following the walk.
DONATIONS are not required but appreciated and will be used for the restoration of Beatty Park.
