Scenic Byways
Jefferson County is the proud home of two designated Ohio Byways. The Ohio River Scenic Byway runs along the eastern border of the county, and the Jefferson County Scenic Byway extends from the Ohio River to historic Mount Pleasant. The natural beauty of the landscape as well as the cultural and historical significance of the sites along the way are features that help to earn Route 7 and Route 150 this distinction.
