Thanksgiving Day Service – First Church of Christ, Scientist

Christian Science congregations in more than 70 Countries around the world will be conducting similar Services. There will be a short Sermon based on Acts 3:1-9, giving thanks to God.
President Trumps Thanksgiving Proclamation will be read, in addition to singing three Thanksgiving hymns, a vocal solo titled: “Gratitude”, by Pearl G. Curran, the Lord’s Prayer, and a time where those present voluntarily share Testimonies of gratitude.
This years Service will be conducted by James W. Higgins and Patty Burgess. The soloist is Lakin Weaver, with H. Lee Kinney, organist.
